ARGANS (Applied Research in Geomatics, Atmosphere, Nature and Space) Limited is an independent customer orientated industrial company of highly-skilled and innovative scientists and engineers bringing state of the art research to solve industrial, operational and scientific requirements.

ARGANS was established as a Private Limited Company in the United Kingdom in 2007 and is an SME with a fast growing perspective over the next years. Its Managing Director is Dr Samantha Lavender; an Earth Observation expert who has worked in the field for over 15 years and is involved in both the UK and International research community.

The operational base is Plymouth, which allows it to make the most of the support for and links with marine activities within the South West through the University of Plymouth and wider Plymouth Marine Science Partnership.
